The Xenotransplantation is in the spotlight as an alternative way to supply organs to transplant. But there are a small minority people are interested about it, the word "Xenotransplantation" itself is unfamiliar generally. This study started at the point that we need to raise public awareness and composition of discourse about it.
But there are some problems to solve. First there are some ethical matters because it use the animal organs without the consent of animals themselves and animal organs contain the human genome. And the major obstacle, hyperacute rejection(HAR) is yet to be unsolved. Furthermore, it run the risk of the emergence of the new epidemic. Most of all, it is the fundamental issue that there is no consensus on these ethical issues and the possible public risks.
However, using animal organs to transplant is still a highly significant alternation so it requires that the investigation relating to Xenotransplantation receive the legal support. It is necessary to enact new legislation for the advancement and commercialization of Xenotransplantaion, therefore we have reached a point where have to reach an agreement on a legislative bill contains to establish the ethical consulting organization and and administrative unit and to offer the guideline for clinical test. I hope to have an national understanding on Xenotransplantation throughout this study may attract academic interest.
